Ryan Mehaffey
CEO / Founder
Ryan has spent his career navigating the tension where mission and profit collide. Before declaring a specific major in college, he was fully committed to an international business focus and has never lost his heart for a global impact. Ryan earned his degree in International Business & Marketing from Marquette University. During his time at Marquette, he soaked up the Jesuit heart for service & social justice. A Social Enterprise consulting trip to northwest India during his junior year was the inspiration for what would become Feast Over Famine.
Ryan spent the first part of his career with large, international brands like Red Bull, Harley-Davidson, Northwestern Mutual, and several others. His work ranged from Operations Management to Financial Management to National Level Sales and Marketing. The wide scope of projects and expertise that Ryan was able to work on in this season set him up to serve organizations in a holistic way.
In 2015, Ryan stepped away from the corporate world and began the journey of bringing his experience and expertise to servant hearted organizations around the globe.
Ryan lives in the Colorado mountains outside Denver with his wife Kyra, their two sons and their Siberian Husky, Nika. They have served in multiple church plants together as a family. In his free time he races mountain bikes, coaches and plays Ultimate Frisbee, rock climbs, hikes, snowshoes, and enjoys pretty much anything that piques his adrenaline a bit higher than it probably should be.
